GRIM TALES
SOLO EXHIBITION
With this exhibition I explored the dark origins of fairy tales. Great care was taken to find the ideal venue and when to hold such event. The Casino Notabile in Rabat, Malta was the ideal place I must say. Many think that these tales were written for children but in actual fact at first they weren't intended for this category of readers. They were written primarily for adults as a means to learn from actual facts of life. I played with the word Grim because it can be associated with the Brothers Grimm (which many associate these authors for being the creators of these tales but they are not) and the word Grim in the English language means something dark, just like the origins of these tales, which many of them in their original versions were very violent, dark and grim indeed.

GRIM TALES
ART BOOK
Together with Grim Tales exhibition I published my first ever art book. Wanted that either all those who visited the exhibition or those who couldn't make it to the event, would still have a chance to avail themselves of all the information and studies that I had gathered on each tale for the exhibition. Besides getting the book all buyers get an original pen sketch from me on the inside cover, so they would know that their art book is unique, no art book is like the other. Whoever is interested to purchase one of these beauties can send me a message for more info.

HOTEL BABAW
SOLO EXHIBITION
A fantasy art exhibition on creatures and beliefs that used to spread fear in times gone by that are found in Maltese folklore. This exhibition was quite a challenge because I wanted the visitor to form part of the exhibition and so everything had to be planned. Such as finding the right location, which was in a derelict hotel and that is known as a very haunted place on the island. It had closed its doors in the early 1960s after they say a murder had took place in one of it's bathrooms. Other things which needed to be taken care of was good lighting in the venue/hotel because there was almost none available beforehand, music in the background, props and even prepared horror themed finger food and glasses for the opening night, which was held three nights before halloween. The exhibition was inaugurated by Malta's best horror books author, Mr Anton Grasso.

SOLO EXHIBITION
My second solo exhibition was totally different from the first one, both in subject matter and in venue.
This collection of artworks where another form of art which I was experimenting, Maltese landscapes
with a difference. Experimenting mostly with curves, form and colour to give my paintings a fresh,
modern and mediterrranean feel. The venue for the event was also a new approach where to display
your art on the island at that time, it was hosted at a restaurant, where the viewers could appreciate my art
while enjoying their meal.
